It\u2019s a tough balance that requires companies to reset their quality versus cost paradigm and ultimately reinvent for value.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s what you should know about creating the future of employee health and benefits.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>What is Meant by Value?<\/h3>\n<p>In this context, the term \u201cvalue\u201d is dynamic, as it encompasses what employees care about as well as the value of care received, plus the value of the organization\u2019s benefit partners.<\/p>\n<p>This is the perception necessary if employers are serious about rebalancing quality and cost.<\/p>\n<h3>What Kind of Future is Desired?<\/h3>\n<p>You want your people to have quality, affordable, and accessible healthcare that they value, and which drives engagement. You also want a program in which vendors are on the same page and improvements are continuous. Moreover, you want a future where you don\u2019t mind spending to deliver value to your organization. You can achieve all that.<\/p>\n<h3>Can Higher Quality Be Delivered at Lower Cost?<\/h3>\n<p>It\u2019s an age-old question, really. But it\u2019s one that, considering all the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gartner.com\/smarterwithgartner\/4-actions-to-be-a-good-leader-during-covid-19-disruption\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">disruption caused by the pandemic<\/a>, simply must be addressed. If organizations reinvent with a premium on value, they can stitch together a future that provides quality, affordable, and accessible healthcare; personalized solutions for employees and their families that drive engagement; productive relationships with vendors that prioritize your employees\u2019 wellness; and spending that delivers optimal value to you as well as your employees.<\/p>\n<p>In sum, creating the future of employee health and benefits means reimagining the quality versus cost equation.
